The Oates Library, founded and named after Headmaster Oates, is the biggest and best library on campus. The library is split into two wings – the quiet study and the group study. In the quiet study, students may read or check out textbooks and other types of material like magazines and short stories. This section is always free to the students and allows some quiet time for students to focus on their studies. It also houses the “Leadership Board”, which is a list of the ten highest-achieving students, hopefully giving everyone motivation and some incentive. The group study is a place where students can work on projects, collaborate, or just do homework with their friends.
